Ford Edge solo drive

The 4x4 SUV market is a lucrative area for car manufacturers. Audi, Hyundai, Kia, Land Rover, Mercedes, VW and now Skoda can all claim success in this sector. And so Ford is muscling in, proffering its, well, edgy-looking Edge as a late contender.
We borrowed the Edge for two weeks to see what the solo driving experience was like.
First off, there are two engines to choose from, both 2.0-litre diesels – a 180PS six-speed manual and a 210PS Powershift automatic. Our test car was the automatic.
