Run to the Winter Sun

Debbie Carcary has a lifetime with the Club under her belt. From being an active District Association (DA) member, to becoming Scottish Region Youth Liaison Officer and a National Councillor, Debbie has done it all. Well, not quite. Despite having helped organise and been away on many international youth rallies, a Winter Sun rally remained an unticked box, until last winter, that is.
Debbie explained: “I had never really considered a Winter Sun rally, but it just seemed such a lovely idea to spend the winter in warmer climes, so I applied to be a Steward. I’m in a lucky position as my kids are grown up and work is flexible because I work for myself, so I had the time to do it. Once I got the position, I didn’t really have an excuse.”
