Start Caravanning At The NEC
Gain some valuable towing tips from The Camping and Caravanning Club, in association with the National Caravan Council at the National Boat Caravan and Outdoor Show 2006 held at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.
The highly successful Start Caravanning initiative will run throughout the show, 18 - 26 February, and will give visitors the opportunity to experience towing a caravan on the roads around the NEC. Land Rover will provide a range of towcars and the whole experience will be under the expert guidance of the Club’s Caravan Manoeuvring Course Instructors.
The free 30-minute sessions are available for even the most apprehensive of would-be tow-ers. If you’re thinking of buying a caravan, a new towcar or are just a little nervous about towing, book your sessions at the National Caravan Council stand, number 4421, during the show and discover how easy it really is to tow a caravan.
The Club’s Director General, David Welsford, says: “The Club’s Manoeuvring Course Instructors have been encouraging novices to tow and experienced caravanners to improve their skills for over ten years. Start Caravanning is a great way to get a taste for a way of life that can help you explore the great British countryside and take you all over the world.”
