Teversal Club Site Offers Historic Destination Tours
Teversal Camping and Caravanning Club Site is celebrating the new summer camping season by offering campers two packages to historic destinations across the Peak District and Nottinghamshire.
Campers can experience trips to Papplewick Pumping Museum - Britain’s finest Victorian water pumping station and the romantic Newstead Abbey from just £54.99 per person, per package.
Campers will enjoy visiting the Papplewick Pumping Museum which is thought to be the last build of the famous firm of James Watt & Co. of Soho Works – an outstanding combination of Victorian engineering and artistic design.
In addition campers may also be tempted by the romance and mystery of Newstead Abbey, once home to the notorious poet Lord Byron, set in a glorious landscape of gardens and parkland in the heart of Nottinghamshire.
All packages offer up to four nights camping on a fully-serviced pitch, plus entry fees, lunch and return coach transportation from the Club Site to each destination are included in the price.
Teversal franchisees, Chris and Jayne Woods, expanded their camping destination packages for 2013 due to the success from the previous year and they said: “We really decided to run these trips in response to demand – we’ve spoken to so many people who are keen to explore the local area and its attractions but are unsure of where to start!
“Our tours take away the pressures of planning and travel - and instead allow holidaymakers to enjoy their leisure time in the knowledge that they literally have to turn up on site and everything has been taken care of for them - all for a great price too!
“It’s also a way for those with motorhomes – who don’t have any alternative transport once on site – to explore the region with minimal disruption!”
Teversal is an award-winning Club Site that is located on the edge of the Peak District and provides the perfect opportunity to explore famous local heritage sites, view beautiful countryside and enjoy the walking and cycling trails.
The package dates for Papplewick Pumping Museum are; Monday, May 6 to Friday, May 10, 2013.
The package dates for Newstead Abbey are; Monday, June 10 to Friday, June 14, 2013.
Early bird special discounts may also be offered.
