Club Announces Online Membership Offering

The Camping and Caravanning Club has listened to its members and expanded its digital offering by launching an Online Membership option.

The new membership choice offers all of the same benefits as a standard Club membership package however, members will not receive any printed literature aside from their Club membership cards.

Instead, online members will have access to the Club’s wide range of digital services, which offer all of the latest and most up-to-date information.

Members will have access to the Club’s great new campsite search engine - with its redesigned online site pages - and its SiteSeeker App (available on iOS and Android devices) - for detailed site and pricing information.

Additionally, online members will be able to view the newly launched digital version of Camping & Caravanning magazine, which is identical to the printed version, within the Members’ Area of the Club’s website.

The magazine team has also launched a new dedicated website, which provides members with additional exclusive content: http://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/magazine.

And the Club will continue to liaise with its Online Membership community via regular emails to keep them updated on all of the Club’s news and offers.

Online Membership is available at a reduced cost of £37 from Tuesday 1 April 2014. Existing members will also be offered the opportunity to switch to the new option when they’re due to renew, and it’s already proving extremely popular with April’s renewers!

Darren Whittington, the Club’s Member Services Director, said: “We have listened to our members’ feedback and looked for a new way to reduce the cost of Club membership and offer additional communication options through online channels.

“This is an important development for the Club and it makes perfect sense against a backdrop of challenging financial times for members and the continuing take up of technology.”

Online Membership is not obligatory and members may continue to receive the Club’s paper membership option. Current members will only be switched to Online Membership if they wish to do so.
