Standup Paddleboarding (SUP) is one of the fastest-growing watersports in the UK and with so many of our Club Sites located close to water – both coastal and inland – taking the plunge couldn’t be easier. To launch you into the world of SUP we’ve teamed up with the Red Paddle Company to provide one lucky winner with an inflatable Standup Paddle Board and paddles, worth over £900.
To be in with a chance of winning this 10’6” Ride, Glass Travel Paddle and Kiddy Paddle, you’ll need to complete our competition entry form and answer the questions below.
If you could only ever have one Red Paddle Co board, the Ride 10’6” is the one the company would tell you to get. They tell us it’s already the world’s most popular inflatable SUP due to its versatility. The 4.7” thick board is designed to float and glide easily on flat water, and it has just the right amount of curve in its shape so it rides smoothly and predictably in surf. The board also has cargo tie-downs and comes with a Red Paddle Co Backpack, Titan pump, repair kit and water-resistant phone case, all worth £739.
To get the most out of your SUP experience, you’ll need a paddle. So the prize also includes a Glass Travel Paddle, worth £149. This paddle has a glass fibre shaft with a progressive curve blade shape to give you extra performance over the water. The shaft has a dynamic flex that will put extra spring and energy into your stroke.
So the whole family can enjoy the paddleboarding experience the Red Paddle Company has also included a Kiddy Paddle, worth £49. Designed for the younger rider, this paddle has a shorter, adjustable shaft that can be extended as its owner grows. It also has a smaller blade and is lightweight, so requires less power to paddle. The shaft is covered in a soft EVA grip to make it kinder on smaller hands.
To be in with a chance of winning, answer the following questions and complete the competition entry form.
How thick is the 10’6” ride?
The shaft of the Glass Travel Paddle is made from what material?
The competition closes 1 August 2016.
