North Devon’s premier Agricultural spectacle and one of the biggest day shows in the country, The North Devon Show is an annual event that celebrates North Devon's agricultural roots.
A host of livestock classes occupy the arenas throughout the day with Alpacas, Cattle, Horses, Sheep, and Show Jumping. The Open Dog Show which is KC registered with over 200 classes on the group system – Utility, Toy, Terrier, Pastoral, Working, Gundogs and Hounds. In addition there will be two stakes classes. The Companion Show has four pedigree classes and there are also novelty classes.
With dozens of stands for charities, local organisations and small businesses, crafters, cottage industries and, of course, lots of local food and drink, there will be plenty to see, try and taste. And The North Devon Group of Young Farmers will be holding their 20th annual rally at the show.
Umberleigh Barton Farm
The show site is situated on the A377 five miles south of Barnstaple, opposite the Murco petrol station between Chapelton and Umberleigh. Parking for cars is free.
