Explore the country home of the Vernon family, with its exquisite plasterwork, wood carvings and classical story-based murals. Kids can experience being a chimney sweep or a pupil in the Victorian schoolroom and there are delicious treats availablein the Coach House Restaurant.

Then you can explore The Museum of Childhood, a collection of objects reflecting the changes and similarities in childhood over the centuries, including the Betty Cadbury collection of 'Playthings Past' - a rich collection of childhood objects which ranges from the 'World's Smallest Noah's Ark' to the 'Smoking Chinaman' automaton.
