A natural science extravaganza, the Lyme Regis Fossil Festival welcomes curious visitors of all ages. The free Grand Marquee on the beach is packed full of fun - dozens of hands-on activities run by more than 70 experts from great places like the Natural History Museum, British Antarctic Survey, Plymouth University and many more. Our scientists will be 3D scanning and printing, operating the Dinosaur Runway, and helping visitors pan for gold, dig up fossils, and sieve for shark's teeth. Ever wondered how palaeontologists investigate a new find? Try Dinosaur CSI! Thinking of studying natural sciences at college or university? Our experts are on hand from the Geological Society, Geologists' Association and Palaeontological Association to tell you all about studying and careers. Check out our website for our full programme of talks too - plenty for the general public and experts alike!
