Festivals & Heritage

Lacock village is known for its picturesque historic buildings, including the Abbey. At the heart of the village lays this quirky country house built in various architectural styles, on the site of a nunnery.

Famously the home of photography pioneer William Henry Fox Talbot, visitors can now explore the medieval rooms and cloister court, learn about the invention of the calotype process in Fox Talbot Museum and soak up the atmosphere of this beautiful rural village, in one brilliant day out.
