Science & Knowledge
This fascinating exhibit showcases historical military radios, spy equipment and the like. This collection will be of interest to anyone studying the war or interested in history. The museum has the radios actually used on D-Day, as well as a variety of spy radios. The collection has already been used in various TV productions such as STV's production of Dr Finlay, the CH4 documentary 'Station X' about Bletchley Park and the Code Breakers and most recently in the film documentary "For Your Tomorrow", the story of the forgotten Burma Army and its terrible jungle fight. Visits are by arrangement, but its well worth making the effort, to see this rare collection.
