Enchanted Woodland Wardrobe

Cobleland Camping in the Forest Campsite

Fancy Dress

We are looking to bring the magic of the woodland alive so join us in dressing up and have a choice of activities throughout the day.  We are looking for elemental or nature spirits so anything from faeries, fauns, elves, mermaids, sprites, gnomes, dragons, salamanders sylphs, tree dryads or green men, even druids, witches or wizards. Also woodland creatures or plants if you prefer - the site has red squirrels, pine marten, foxes, tawny owls and woodland birds all surrounded by oak, hazel and beautiful native flowers including the amazing bluebell.

Morning Crafts

Join Nikki & Will in the Ranger's Tent for woodland crafts.

Fancy Dress Judging

'Have a break with a faerie cake' whilst the fancy dress competition is judged by members of the Cobleland team. There will also be a 'best dog in nature' competition!

Afternoon 'Magical Mystery Tour'

Join Nikki & Will for a walk to Doon Hill, a 'real' faerie hill that is steeped in history and faerie folklore (you may even see a beetle :-). Walking through the amazing bluebell woods, learn about magic wands, witches and the different types of faeries before taking your wishes and gifts to faerie hill (made at the morning craft session) to 'The Minister's Pine'. Venture then into Aberfoyle, the 'Enchanted Village' passing the mysterious grave of Robert Kirk, the faerie seer. Walk ends at the village where you can then stop for refreshments before chosing the quick or the long route back at your own leisure!
