Kids & Family

Gibside is so close to Tyneside but a million miles from city life, and this Easter there’s plenty planned for all the family. Step back in time and enjoy the Easter egg trail of an heiress with Mary Eleanor Bowes, who grew up and lived at Gibside in the eighteenth century. Finish the trail and collect a yummy Cadbury chocolate Egghead prize at the end. There are also garden games and an Easter mouse house competition. Add to this a grand designs activity with natural materials and you have a whole weekend of fun.
