A series of traditional ceilidhs run throughout the summer each year in Poolewe. These Ceilidhs (pronounced kay-lees) feature a superb visiting Scottish traditional band, as well as local pipers, singers and instrumentalists. There will be a chance for visitors to join in with the dances, and during the interval, you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and some home-baking, all included in the admission price. Ceilidhs are not licensed, but you are welcome to bring your own wine or beer. Soft drinks are available to purchase. There will also be a raffle in aid of a local good cause.
