Festivals & Heritage

This 16th Century Tower House, set in a pear-tree garden in the heart of historic Jedburgh, explores the life of Scotland’s tragic queen (who stayed here in 1566) through paintings, textiles and objects associated with Mary. Visitors can see the Rogues' Gallery, which introduces the individuals in the drama of Mary's life, whilst the Last Letter Room reveals Mary's final thoughts. The period feel inside the house has been preserved, while careful design lets the story of Mary's life unfold in a lively way. An Audio tour is available and there is also a gift shop.
