Discover the life and times of former Prime Minister David Lloyd George. Lloyd George was one of the greatest statesmen of the twentieth century. Introducing the old age pension, and leading the country as Prime Minister during World War I. He even gave women the vote. In the Museum you can see the unique display of objects, a film about his life, the astonishing 'talking head', a Victorian schoolroom, and the library. There is now a museum shop as well. Highgate has been recreated as it was when Lloyd George lived there between 1864-1880 as well as his uncle's shoemaking workshop. You can also enjoy the Victorian cottage garden.
