The holiday caravan at Troutbeck is situated on a small and friendly site with breathtaking views.

The Holiday Caravan

This spacious holiday caravan can accommodate up to six people.

The open plan lounge/dining area offers a decent sized living space and the caravan also has an outdoor veranda with a patio table and chairs.

There is also a barbecue outside enabling you to cook in the great outdoors and take in the wonderful views of the Lakeland Fells. 

There is a family bathroom and en-suite shower room available in the unit as well. With a TV, DVD and CD player available in the lounge you can take advantage of the on-site service to borrow a number of DVD's as well as some board games from reception. 

Pets are allowed in the holiday caravan.

Please note: Own bed linen and towels are requierd.

Troutbeck Campsite

Our lovely award-winning Troutbeck Club campsite provides the perfect base for exploring the Lake District. Surrounded by countryside and with stunning views of the fells, this site is at the heart of a walkers’ paradise with both Blencathra and Sharp Edge easily accessed from the site.

After a day on the hill Troutbeck campsite offers a peaceful place to relax and soak up the views. You’ll also find a laundry and disabled room, small children’s play area and ample space to exercise your dog. As well as the essentials, the site shop sells local free-range eggs, meat and ales.

Things to do around Troutbeck

  • The popular market towns of Keswick and Penrith, both easily accessible from site, offer a number of cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops.
  • Rookin House Farm Equestrian and Activity Centre offers many activities, including archery, amphibious driving, horseriding and quad biking.
  • Dalemain Historic House and Gardens, near Ullswater, combines medieval, Tudor and Georgian architecture with lovely gardens.
  • Beckstone Art Gallery is one of the country’s leading fine art galleries, displaying over 300 paintings by 40 of the nation’s top artists.
  • Blencathra (also known as Saddleback) is one of the many fells within walking distance of the site.
  • The impressive waterfall of Aira Force, managed by the National Trust, is close by.
  • Eden Ostrich World is on a working arable, beef and sheep farm and has zebras and racoons alongside a soft play area.
  • Whinlatter Forest Park is England’s only true Mountain Forest. In the summer, there is a video link showing the Bassenthwaite ospreys at the Visitor Centre.
  • The Coast to Coast cycleway passes directly opposite the Site.
  • The White Horse Inn at Scales offer a pick-up and drop-off service for diners
