Camping in the Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is situated right in the centre of Europe with Germany, Poland and Austria at its borders.

With the beautiful and historic city of Prague at its centre, towering mountains, rolling hills, lakes and rivers (and a welcoming mild climate), it is a truly great camping destination.

Throughout the key regions of Bohemia and Moravia, enchanting and historic towns and cities, towering Gothic castles, Baroque chateaux and rich art treasures are all beautifully preserved and just waiting for you to explore.

Camping in the Czech RepublicCzech cuisine borrows strongly from nearby Germany and Hungary. Meats, especially pork, chicken and ham are very popular. National dishes include pork and cabbage plates, potato pancakes and svícková na smetane (thinly sliced, creamed sirloin over bread).
Delicious sauces are a speciality here as are flaky strudels and other sweet treats.

If The Czech Republic is famous for any culinary contribution however, it is beer and the country has over 60 breweries. A number of highly respected wines are also produced.

Perfect for camping in The Czech Republic, our Club selected site at Oase Praha is a high quality, family-friendly site situated in the rolling Bohemian countryside. This makes it perfect for both relaxing and exploring. It has outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a bar/ restaurant, a shop, a play area and sports facilities. The site is just ten minutes from Prague via a regular bus service and the impressive Aquapalace waterpark is just ten miles away.
