Champagne-Ardenne and Burgundy
These splendid French regions are renowned for their world famous vineyards and the premium quality wines they produce. This can only be achieved however, thanks to the perfect climate, rich soil and local know how that has been handed down from generation to generation.
Champagne-Ardenne and Burgundy are also proud of their many gastronomic specialities so these regions are ideal holiday locations for campers and caravanners who love delicious food and drink.
The landscape is also truly impressive here; rolling green hills dip down into river valleys, and forests, lakes, charming towns and picturesque villages are all yours to explore.
We have six Club selected sites for you to choose from.
Les Ripettes is a small, well kept and quiet site deep in the Burgundy countryside (so sampling the famous local wine here is a must). Large pitches are set around the central swimming pool complex and the site is situated on the edge of a charming town. There’s a shop and a small children’s play area and French fries and crêpes are available on site up to three times a week.
The site at Chȃteau de I’Epervière is situated in a beautiful woodland location (it is in the chȃteau grounds and perfectly positioned for exploring the Burgundy wine area). The great range of facilities here include an outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and bar & restaurant. A supermarket is also close to hand.
Idylically located adjacent to the vineyards and village of Meursault, La Grappe d'Or is perfect for both short and longer stays in the region.
The splendid Forge de Sainte Marie site is a favourite with many members. Set in a beautiful rural location (with a picturesque mill pool at its centre) this is an ideal site for a relaxing break. Facilities include an indoor pool, bar & restaurant and a pizzeria.
With panoramic views from the swimming pool terrace across the nearby lake, the site at Lac de la Liez is in a truly memorable location. A visit to the excellent onsite restaurant here is a must as is a trip to the adjacent lakeside beach. On site facilities are maintained to a very high standard.
La Samaritaine is a very attractive site with large pitches set in lush, green grounds. Close by you will find a wide range of fascinating Ardenne visitor attractions (we especially recommend the zoo, The Museum of War and Peace and a brewery that’s located inside a Trappist monastery). Onsite facilities include a play area for younger children and swimming, fishing and pedaloes at the lake.
Jura, Vosges, Lorraine and Alsace
Something of a well kept secret, the regions of Jura, Vosges Lorraine and Alsace in eastern France are truly awe inspiring.
The lush green hills of Lorraine in the North rise up into the majestic mountain forests of the Vosges and further south, Jura takes you into a land of lakes, mountains and waterfalls at the edge of the Swiss Alps.
No matter where you go throughout these amazing regions you are guaranteed breath taking views, wonderful fresh air and to feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
So come and discover some hidden treasures such as over 1,000km of woodland paths, Nancy, the centre of the art nouveau movement, an amazing shelf of extinct volcanoes (the ballons) and spectacular cascading waterfalls near the Swiss border.

The smart and well run Le Brabois site in Lorraine is set in quiet parkland and is just a short bus ride away from the historic town of Nancy. The onsite bar/restaurant is renowned for its dishes which often use produce that is grown (and laid!) on site. Other facilities include a small shop, children’s play area, bouncy castle and children’s activities.
The Beauregard site in the beautiful Jura countryside is very family friendly. If you fancy a trip into Switzerland it is just a short drive away so here, you’re guarantee lots of fresh air, wide open spaces and the welcoming laid back attitude the local people are well known for. Facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools with waterslide, Jacuzzi, bar & restaurant, take away, children’s play area, tennis half court and cycle hire. Members can also enjoy a rally here in June.
The site at La Plage Blanche runs alongside the picturesque banks of the Loue River and is therefore the perfect location for a range of outdoor activities. Children will love the canoeing, treetop ropes and guided bike rides, which are right on your doorstep and grownups will love the excellent fishing and walks in the surrounding countryside or the nearby Haut-Jura National Park. There’s a good swimming pool on site, plus a multisports area, children’s play area, bar & restaurant, take away, pizzeria, children’s entertainment and adventure activities.
Au Clos de la Chaume is a small, friendly site just outside the Vosgien town of Corcieux with friendly Anglo-French owners, who take great pride in the carefully tended plants and flowers on site and spotless sanitation blocks. Members can also enjoy a rally here from late May to early June.
Les Portes d'Alsace is a small and friendly campsite where you can discover the Franco-german culture of this fascinating region. The transversal boat lift at Saint-Louise Arzviller is a unique attraction nearby that is very worth seeing.
