Camping in the Netherlands
There’s more to camping in Netherlands than tulips, clogs and windmills, so why not book a trip and find out more about this delightful country that’s right on our doorstep?
Historically, the Netherlands was one of the world’s major economic and seafaring powers during the 17th century, making the country a delight for history buffs and culture lovers.
The Dutch people are also famous for their tolerant attitude and their welcoming and easy going nature.
When camping in the Netherlands, we have five Club selected sites to choose from. Site facilities usually include an outdoor pool, restaurant and bar, shop and play area, plus modern wash blocks and toilet facilities.
The Duinrell site, situated right on the coast, even has its own amusement park and amazing swimming pool complex, not to mention themed restaurants and the nearby beach. This makes it an ideal family holiday destination. The school holiday rally here is perfect for families too.
In contrast, the Club selected site at Vinkenhof, which is close to the border with Belgium, is located in quiet countryside, making it the perfect location for those who want to relax in a delightful rural setting.
Our Koningshof and Delftse Hout sites are both located in beautiful countryside yet are perfectly situated for family day trips to nearby visitor attractions and cities. Members can also enjoy a rally at Delftse Hout in April and May.
Camping de Zanding is ideal for families with a good range of facilities but also well located visiting the historical sites of Anrhem.
If you would like something a bit different why not join our 11 day Escorted Tour of Holland, which is ideal for your first time abroad. The tour combines the independence of a camping holiday with a package of escorted visits. Tour highlights include a visit to the Keukenhof gardens to see the fantastic spring flowers in bloom and an excursion to Amsterdam with a canal cruise.
