Holland Escorted Tour Map Our popular Springtime in Holland tour will let members see the best of this region without having to use your motorhome or car after arriving at the campsite. This makes the tour especially suited to members who haven’t taken their units abroad before. Join in with local tradition at the flower parade in Rijnsburg and enjoy a trip to Delft. Highlights include:

A visit to the Keukenhof gardens to see the fantastic spring flowers in bloom.

An excursion to Amsterdam with a canal cruise included.

Tour itinerary

Day 1

Meet up at Harwich ferry port from 21.00 with your fellow members and Club tour escorts. 23.15 departure to Hook of Holland.
1 night on board ferry.

Day 2

Disembark at Hook of Holland from 07.00. Drive to campsite in Katwijk (32 miles) then free time to check out the local area and stock up on supplies. Evening Welcome meal in the site restaurant.

Day 3

A local guided walk from the site to Katwijk where you will visit the lighthouse, a museum and there might be the chance to taste some local fish!

Day 4

Coach excursion from the site to Amsterdam including a canal cruise with guided tour and free time to explore the Venice of the North.

Day 5

Day excursion to see traditional Holland – visit
to a cheese farm, windmill, clog maker and tulip fields.

Day 6

Short coach transfer from the campsite to watch the local flower parade, an explosion of colour – don’t forget your cameras!

Day 7

Free time to visit the area – perhaps visit
Rijnsburg and the coastal resorts of Noordwijk and Katwijk, or revisit Amsterdam by bus and train to see more of the city.

Day 8

Coach transfer from the campsite to visit the spectacular Keukenhof gardens (10 miles) with entrance included. With over 7 million bulbs planted over 80 acres, this is considered to be the best springtime garden in the world.

Day 9

Day excursion by coach to visit the beautiful town of Delft, famous for its blue and white pottery and traditional buildings. Evening Farewell meal in campsite restaurant.

Day 10

Free time on site, or perhaps take one last trip to the beach? 2230 ferry from Hook of Holland to Harwich.
1 night on board ferry.

Day 11

07.00 Arrive Harwich.
End of tour arrangements.
