Going on your holiday
Everything you need to know whilst on your camping holiday abroad, including: pitch descriptions, activities and entertainment and energy supply information.
Many countries have different speed limits when towing or driving a motorhome. You will find these contained in Carefree’s European Driver’s Handbook.
Mainland European electricity supply runs at 220V, which is 10V lower than in Britain. With a reduced voltage the output of power is also reduced, so appliances will generally not work so efficiently.
Calor Gas and Supergas are not available in mainland Europe, so either carry sufficient gas to last for the duration of your stay
Most sites have been created in the existing natural landscape, so pitches are often not perfectly flat or even.
