Day 1 Fly to Christchurch via Singapore with Singapore Airlines.
Days 3 - 4 Arrive Christchurch and spend the first night in a hotel.
Day 5 Pick up your motorhome and drive to Oamaru via Timaru, stopping off to
marvel at the Moeraki Boulders.
Day 6 Continue south to Dunedin, where you can visit penguin, albatross and seal colonies.
Day 7 Travel to Te Anau where an excursion on Milford Sound is a must.
Day 8 Queenstown is the adventure capital of the country where you can experience bungee jumping, jet boating and rafting. For a more relaxing experience take a trip across Lake Wakatipu aboard the TSS Earnslaw.
Day 9 Take the challenging drive of the Crown Range Road to Wanaka – look out for kea’s along the route.
Day 10 - 11 Take the Haast Pass to visit Fox Glacier and Franz Josef Glacier.
Day 12 Drive from Franz Josef to Greymouth along the coast, calling in at Shantytown, a reconstructed gold rush town.
Day 13 Head north to Nelson, stopping off at the Punakaiki pancake rocks and blowholes.
Day 14 - 15 Head South to Kaikoura and book onto a whale-watching trip – not to be missed.
Day 16 Return to Christchurch in preparation for your journey home.
Day 17 Return your motorhome and take the Singapore Airlines flight to Singapore on your way back to London. Why not stop over in Singapore and enjoy a Singapore Sling at the Raffles Hotel?
When is the best time to travel?
We particularly recommend taking this trip in New Zealand’s spring (September to November) or at the end of the summer (February–March), so as to avoid the peak New Zealand holidays and to take advantage of better rates.
