The Great Lakes - Sample Itinerary

Day 1-2 Fly to Chicago and spend 2 nights in a hotel to discover the Windy City – named after the hot air from Chicago politicians rather than the wind.

Day 3 Pick up your motorhome from Chicago and head to Coloma on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Day 4 - 5 Travel to Detroit – Motor City, home of the American automobile industry and Motown Records. A visit to the Henry Ford Museum is highly recommended.

Day 6 - 7 Cross the border into Canada to Toronto on Lake Ontario, visiting the Welland Canal linking Lake Eerie and Lake Ontario.

Day 8 - 9 Take the short drive to Niagara Falls – best seen from the Canadian side.

Day 10 Travel back into the USA via Buffalo and head to Cleveland, home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Day 11 - 12 Call in at Cedar Point Amusement Park, the self proclaimed Roller Coaster Capital of the World, on your way to Toledo.

Day 13 Head back to Chicago.

Day 14 Return your motorhome and fly back to London from Chicago.Great lakes Map
