Alton, The Star is our campsite right next to the Alton Towers park and provides a great base for a week of adventure. A whole week jam packed with activities for all ages is set to take place at Muncaster Castle over Halloween. In the ghostly grotto you find plenty of crafts for kids, there will be fire juggling, a cannon blowout, twilight owl display and a very scary maze!

Halloween Crafts at Killhope
Fancy a trip down a spooky old mine? Killhope is the place to visit. Deep underground lays a mine that found its beginnings in 1853. The mine reopened to the public in 1996 and provides a spooky trip 500 metres down. There will be a range of crafts for kids too!
Black Country Living Museum Halloween Nights
For 3 nights the museum is turning into a spook worthy location for spooks, a little bit of fear and a lot of fun for the whole family. Take in the creepy crawly display, watch birds of prey hunting in the night sky and show off your best frightening costumes.

Ghostly Gaslight at Ironbridge
The Victorian replica streets, shops and houses are being transformed into eerie areas filled with ghosts, ghouls and monsters. The usually peaceful streets will be illuminated at night and there will be a spectacular firework display.
