Redevelopment Crowborough Pitches

All of our Club Sites are open again next month and we have been working hard to ensure there is minimum disruption during the camping season.

  1. Inverewe - Work is well underway to install 12 hard standing pitches and refurbish the Holiday Site Manager’s pitches. An electrical upgrade has been applied for to provide electric to these pitches. Work is also underway to update the chemical disposal point
  2. Haltwhistle - A total of 17 new hard standing pitches and a motor home service point are currently being installed. The Holiday Site Manager pitches are also being developed plus the team is working to improve land drainage. An electrical upgrade is also in progress. Initially work was delayed due to adverse weather conditions but it is now nearing completion in readiness for the opening of the site.
  3. Hayfield - Work commenced on February 21, 2011 to create new hard standing pitches, electric hook-ups, a motor home service point, a children’s play area and a new reception.
  4. Nairn - Works to install a motor home service point and caravan storage area are currently underway.
  5. Normans Bay- Work is now complete! 14 new hard standing pitches have been installed and repairs to the internal site roads have been carried out. An electrical upgrade has also been completed and will be energised in March.
  6. Walton on Thames - The installation of 11 hard standing pitches and a road extension is currently in progress. Repairs are also being carried out to the access road to the site.
  7. Folkestone- The sites electricity supply is being currently being renewed.
  8. Slingsby - Work is now well underway to relocate the dishwashing and disabled toilet facilities. This work is scheduled to be completed this month.
  9. Devizes - A new entrance/exit barrier is being installed at the site.
  10. Oban - A new amenity block is currently being built.
  11. Alton, The Star - Work is now underway to upgrade the electricity supply to the site and to provide additional electrical hook-ups.
