Have you stayed on a CS recently? If you enjoyed your stay why not nominate your favourite site into our Best CS Competition?
There’s no limit to the number of sites you can nominate, so whether you visit one, or several throughout the year, you have the chance to nominate your favourite sites for the Best CS this year. Each nomination entry is entered into a quarterly prize draw to win £150 of Go Outdoors Vouchers, kindly sponsored by Club Care Insurance!
Nominating your site is simple!
All you need to do is fill in the Nomination form and select which category you would like to nominate the site in, it’s that simple!

What was once a derelict abandoned small holding is now a secluded idyllic hideaway, today known as Acorn Wood.
Heather and Martin Thompson purchased their small holding in the early 1990’s. With fond memories of their own camping holidays they opened Acorn Wood CS in 2008, enabling them to share their “little slice of heaven” with all Camping and Caravanning Club members.
The Site has been a massive hit with our members being double award winners, winning Best CS and the Best Facilities award 2014. Members love the spotless facilities, the peaceful setting, and the fishing lake, where experienced anglers can sit back relax and enjoy hooking carp, bream, roach, tench and perch.
With outstanding reviews telling us that it’s “Probably the best CS site we have ever stayed on, absolutely first class in all areas” without a doubt this is why Acorn Wood have been nominated as BEST CS and Best Facilities of 2014.
