You have seen the professional cyclists do it, now try your own Cycling Tour of Britain...
After watching Brit Jonathan Tiernan-Locke win the 2012 Cycling Tour of Britain, many cyclists will no doubt be wishing they could do the same. Well, with The Camping and Caravanning Club you can!
We have created five tours spanning across the UK allowing you to complete your own Cycling Tour of Britain. Each tour is around 100-150 miles long, and will take 4-5 days to complete, though of course you may want to add some extra nights to explore the area around each of the campsites that the tour stops at.
Cycling has seen a surge in popularity this year with huge success in the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the Tour de France, and this has inspired many people across the country to take up cycling, and those that already enjoy the sport to push themselves further. What better way to expand your hobby than by combining it with a camping break?
