Leg 1: Sennen Cove to Veryan on the National Cycle Network
On the first day of your holiday you will be travelling through some beautiful Cornish towns and villages as you journey between the first two campsites – Sennen Cove and Veryan.
This is a beautiful stretch to start the tour, taking in some great scenery along country and coastal roads and cycle paths – there is even a ferry crossing to enjoy towards the end of the route!
This leg of the tour is just over 50 miles long and will take approximately 6 and a half hours to cycle.
There are a number of pubs and cafes that you could stop at along the route to have something to eat, many of which are mentioned within the instructions.
Some of the Cornish towns and villages are also worth stopping to explore while you are cycling through, while there are many places during the day that you are likely to want to pause at to admire the view!
Full step-by-step instructions of the route can be downloaded below, and the map above illustrates the route you will be taking on the first day of your holiday.
