Young Achievers Award
The Club's Young Achiever Awards aim to recognise the contributions of young Camping and Caravanning Club members to our society.
2009 Winners
Under 18 – Vicky Hepworth, who was chosen for her promising musical talents, being an accomplished pianist and clarinet player as well as playing with the Barnsley Youth Jazz Orchestra and helping younger musicians learn, when she’s not camping with the Yorkshire CCY and studying for her A-levels.
Under 15 – Daniel Vernon whose hobbies include playing the drums and guitar and even performing in his dad’s rock band. Despite battling a long-term illness, Daniel still finds time and energy to camp with Trent Valley DA’s Youth as often as he can and enjoy football too.
