The perfect day out for family’s and couples alike; the Bala Lake Railway takes you through the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.

The narrow gauge steam trains allow for excellent views of the lake and the stunning surroundings.

The railway’s HQ is in the pretty village of Llanuwchllyn, which is where you’ll start your journey.

There is on-site car parking, refreshments, gift shop, toilets, and even picnic tables. The village itself has a long history and a visit to the church is a must.

Dogs are welcome to ride the railway for a small fee.
