Belvoir Castle Belvoir Castle

Belvoir is French for beautiful view but should be pronounced as 'beaver'. originally built in 1822 it was constructed on the site of an earlier Norman castle. It was used as a film location for "The Da Vinci Code" and "the Haunting". It's believed to be where the tradition of afternoon tea was first established.
