Visiting Boscastle Harbour
Boscastle is a lovely village and fishing port on the north coast of Cornwall just a few miles from the well-known holiday towns of Tintagel and Bude.
It is the only port along the 20 mile stretch of coastline and is a place of great beauty.
Towards the outer harbour a ‘blowhole’ sometimes sends plumes of spray up into the air adding to the somewhat mysterious atmosphere of the port which used to be a haven for Cornish smugglers.
