Visiting Burton Agnes Hall
Built by Sir Henry Griffith in 1601, Burton Agnes Hall is a wonderful example of an Elizabethan Manor built on the site of an earlier Norman house. There are more than 3,000 species of plants in the garden as well as many interesting and unusual statues. There is even a legend that buried within one of the walls is the skull of one of Sir Henry's daughters.
