The town is perhaps best known for its rich crumbly cheese but it is also home to one of the largest castles in the country - only Winsor Castle is larger. It is surrounded by many moats and gardens. One of the notable features is the south east tower that has a split which causes it to tilt more than even the leaning tower of Pizza in Italy.
