Just a short walk or bus ride from the city centre is one of the finest examples of regeneration in Europe. At one time a rundown part of the city it is now a real gem with many fine buildings surrounding a tidal barrage. The bay is home to the Welsh Assembly, Techniquest the Norwegian Church, Butetown History and Art Centre as well as many fine restaurants.
