Opened in 1970, the Cotswold Wildlife Park is home to one of the UK’s largest zoological collections.

The park has a large range of animals including big cats, primates, reptiles and birds.

Giraffes, white rhinos, Asiatic lions and ostriches are just a few of the species you’ll encounter on your journey around the zoo.

Feeding is always a popular activity at the zoo and at The Cotswolds Wildlife Park you’ll be able to catch the penguins and lemurs enjoying a snack on most days.

During peak season the narrow-gauge railway takes you on a journey all around the park for a £1 fee with children under 3 riding free with an adult.

The adventure playground, the Skymaze has interconnecting treehouses with jungle bridges and slides. You can climb to a birdseye view of the park over 20 feet high. For the little ones the Mini Manor with slides, sandpit and treehouses is a safe place to play away from older children.

The Victorian manor house's walled gardens form the backbone of the wonderful landscape. A lot of work goes into the gardens maintenance and it’s a lovely area for a gentle stroll to end your day of excitement.

For hungry tummies there are plenty of options including The Oak Tree Restaurant, a number of kiosks and plenty of picnic areas. The gift shop is just by the main carpark and sells all kinds of souvenirs.

Dogs on leads, controlled by adults are also allowed to enjoy all the park has to offer. They’re not allowed in the Bat Belfry, Reptile House or any areas with free roaming animals though!
