Visiting Haddon Hall
Located in Bakewell, Haddon Hall dates back to the 12th century and it has been described as one of the best examples of its period style in England.
It was built on sloping ground around two courtyards; the north east which incorporates the Eagle Tower and the Long Gallery and the lower south west courtyard that houses the chapel, with the Great Hall. It has been used as the location for a number of famous film productions.
Dine at Haddon Hall Restaurant, elegantly situated in the 17th century stable block and browse the array of souvernirs in the Gatehouse gift shop.
