Visiting Kew Royal Botanic Gardens
A beautiful collection of botanical gardens in London, Kew Gardens stretches over 300 acres and is home to the largest plant collection in the world. These famous gardens feature a tree-top walkway, landscaped gardens, iconic listed buildings, an exotic rainforest and greenhouses and conservatories that are able to grow unusual and rarely-seen plant varieties.
Kew Gardens is a great day out whatever the weather as much of it is undercover. If the rain sets in, you can take a walk through ten climatic zones in the Princess of Wales Conservatory, where you will see Madagascan baobab trees, orchids from Central America and Asian carnivorous plants to name a few, or visit the Palm House to explore the rainforest. Free guided tours are available to help you make the most of your visit.
