Visiting Pembroke Castle
This was the birthplace of Henry VII, father of Henry VIII and a considerable King in his own right. Henry was the last king to claim the crown after victory in battle.
It is the largest privately owned caste in Wales and is surrounded by water on three sides.
The castle is a prominent feature at the apex of the Cleddau Estuary in the town of Pembroke.
