Visiting the Roman Baths of Bath
The Roman Baths of Somerset is a site of special historic interest and were first used by roman soldiers and settlers around 60 AD. The ruins of this exceptional Roman spa are below the present street level of the City of Bath but are exceptionally well preserved and still producing naturally hot water. This is one of the most important tourist destinations outside of London.
