Tickets to West Midlands Safari Park start from as little as £19.90 per person, but you can get up to 35% off by booking online and in advance. There are several packages to choose from.
Day tickets
There are two types of day tickets to select:
- Includes the Safari and Adventure Theme Park (from £29.90)
- Includes the Safari Drive and Safari Walk (from £19.90)
Blue Light card holders and DDS holders get further discounts.
You can also add extras to your ticket. Extras include:
- Mini Bus Safari Tour for £7.50: This is an optional guided tour where you can learn more about the animals.
- Virtual Reality Ride for £4: This is an immersive 4D experience with headsets.
- Discovery Trail Guided Tour for £7.50: Get to know more about the animals on your walking safari with a guided tour.
- Animal food for £4: Get even closer to the animals on the safari and feed them with animal food.
- Guided book for £5: A book which teaches you all about the animals on your visit.

Driving to West Midlands Safari Park is straightforward. The park is just off the A456, and you’ll see plenty of brown tourist signs along the way.

Guided tours
You can still enjoy the West Midlands Safari Park without a vehicle by booking one of the guided tours. You can choose from a minibus guided tour or a jeep safari guided tour.

West Midlands Safari Park opening and closing times
West Midlands Safari Park opens at 10am and closes at 5pm daily. However, timings may vary depending on when you’re visiting.
During the summer, the timings are:
- Walk-through Safari and Park opens at 10am and closes at 5pm
- Adventure Theme Park rides open at 12pm and close at 5pm (wristband offices close at 4pm)
- First Safari time slot: 10am-10:30am
- Last Safari time slot: 12pm-12:30pm
- Wildlife trail opens at 12pm and closes at 4pm (this includes African Walking Trail, Tiger Tropics, African Village, Lemur Woods and Lion Ridge)

Accessibility
West Midlands Safari Park is wheelchair-friendly, but due to the natural gradients of the land, wheelchair users may need extra assistance. Although most surfaces are tarmac and compressed gravel, there are a few steep surfaces that might be challenging to manoeuvre.
West Midlands Safari Park has accessibility facilities such as toilets and parking, and you can hire a wheelchair or pushchair before you arrive at the park.

Dogs or other pets are NOT allowed to enter West Midlands Safari Park.
Assistance dogs are welcome in some areas but not all animal habitats due to the safety of all animals. The areas where an assistance dog can enter include Ice Age, Land of the Living Dinosaurs, Explorers’ Play Park and Theme Park.
