For many people part of the appeal of camping is that big ‘reveal’ moment. First thing in the morning you unzip the front of the tent or open the caravan or motorhome door, to see what vista lies before you. I’m no different. It can be all the more enjoyable when you pitch up in the dark the night before and then see what view greets you the next morning.

Thanks to a weekend of unseasonably warm weather, it was time to break out the shorts again and pop the cap off the sun cream bottle.

One of my passions in life is encouraging people to enjoy the great outdoors. To get them into the countryside where they can enjoy all the benefits it brings, both physically and mentally.
For me, the best way to do that is twofold. Firstly, camping in all its forms brings you closer to nature and is the ideal way to enjoy outdoor pastimes and sports. And secondly, start them young. Get children into camping and the countryside at a tender age and that way they will hopefully carry our great...
