Overview
We are a family run site, situated on the edge of the village of Akeley. So if you are looking for that peaceful getaway, we are the perfect location. We are a two mile drive or walk from the historic town of Buckingham, and a nine mile drive from central Milton Keyenes. And the town of Towcester is about seven miles from our site. There are two pubs within walking distance, one in the village of Akeley, and the other is in the village of Chackmore, for that meal or drink. We are a ten minute drive from Stowe school and gardens, and a fifteen minute drive from Silverstone Circuit. We are also close to Bletchley Park, and the national trust houses of Claydon house and Waddesdon manor.On site we have our Alpacas, and our resident shetland pony Belle, who is quite the Diva!
This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
*Tents are not permitted on the majority of CS sites in Scotland
