Overview

Set far from the crowds in peaceful rural Norfolk, Bramley House Camping is a site for relaxing, country walks or using as a base to explore Norfolk, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire. Recognised for providing good sized pitches, friendly owners, clean facilities, and its suitability for all age groups. Tents and tourers can pitch up among the leafy apple trees of the 1½ acre orchard. This small-scale site has good amenities including, a small shop with homemade produce and art, a wash block with toilets and hot showers, a plate washing area, waste and refuse disposal. Electricity at this sustainable spot is supplied by a wind turbine, and solar energy. September activities include apple juicing days. A short drive from Kings Lynn and Wisbech (15 minutes) the seaside at Hunstanton beach (30 minutes) or the grand grounds of the royal Sandringham Estate (25 minutes). The site is set a mile back from the A17 road, making day trips to further-flung destinations easily achievable. Handily, this campsite is also 300m from Samuels Family Farm Shop, cafe, bar and restaurant, a convenient spot to pick up supplies for an on-site barbecue or picnic. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Bramley House Camping,

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

*Tents are not permitted on the majority of CS sites in Scotland

To vote for your favourite CS, all you need to do is fill in the online form and select which category you would like to nominate the campsite for.
