1. Derwentwater
To the south of Keswick, the 3-mile long Derwentwater is a tourist attraction year-round. You can benefit from direct access to the water if you stay on our Keswick Club Site. If you’d prefer to admire the views on dry land, walking and cycling are great ways to get around, or you could enjoy one of the many boat cruises on offer.
2. Skiddaw
A walker’s paradise and easily reached from our Keswick campsites, the mountain of Skiddaw is the sixth highest in England at 931-metres.
3. Castlerigg Stone Circle
Explore part of Cumbria’s Neolithic and Bronze Age past on a visit to Castlerigg Stone Circle. The surroundings of the circle are worth it alone, with fantastic views of the surrounding fells of Skiddaw Blencathra, Castlerigg Fell, High Rigg and Clough Head.
4. Catbells
Panoramic views of Derwentwater are the reward for those who climb to 451 metres to the summit of Catbells. This is a popular climb amongst both new and seasoned walkers.
