Overview
Situated off the A35 near the historic town of Bridport, Camp Eden is a coastal retreat, nestled between the historic villages of West Milton and Powerstock, close to the historic sites of Powerstock, 12th Century church, ruins of King Johns hunting lodge (Humpy Castle) overlooked by the Celtic Hill fort of Eggardon Hill offering stunning views of the Jurassic coastline. Powerstock Common and Hooke Wood nature reserves lies beneath making us ideally situated for both country and Jurassic coast walks. We are within walking distance of two pubs.
All pitches are secluded, with hard standing, electric and water and situated on a hill side overlooking the rolling valleys of true Dorset. The camping area is nestled amongst a wooded area with individually laid out, private pitches
Our facilities are unique, with quirky touches and include a chill area, fridge freezer, fire pit, bbq/fire bowls to use on your pitch along with the toilet and shower block.
During the summer food is available on site most weekends together with our onsite shops “India’s Bizarre” and our small shop selling some essentials. We also have various sized tents for rent and various bespoke courses including yoga, aikido, landscape design, countryside skills .Please contact us for further information.
This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
*Tents are not permitted on the majority of CS sites in Scotland
