Overview

Dorn is a hamlet with 2 farms and 7 houses. Old Farm has had a camping field since the 1980s, the 10 pitches are spacious and 8 have EHU. There are 2 toilets, 1 shower, 3 drinking water taps and a CDP area. It is a working family farm with sheep, beef cattle, pigs, horses, alpacas, dogs and cats. Airbnb also available. The farm shop sells meat produced and packed on the farm including award winning home-made sausages and bacon as well as other local food and drink. Officially open Fridays and Saturdays with the coffee machine and freshly made sausage rolls being very popular, appointments can be made on other days, just contact Simon or Sarah. A 15 minute walk across the fields will bring you to Moreton in Marsh for shops, pubs, buses and trains. We are not able to accept dogs at Old Farm, sorry for any inconvenience. To check availability or book a pitch then please use the on-line booking platform at www.oldfarmdorn.co.uk/camping, any problems please email sarah@oldfarmdorn.co.uk. We are not often in the office to answer the phone and e-mails but will reply to any queries as soon as we can. Tel: 01608 650394

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

*Tents are not permitted on the majority of CS sites in Scotland

To vote for your favourite CS, all you need to do is fill in the online form and select which category you would like to nominate the campsite for.
