Overview

Our Campsite is a dog friendly, hideaway site located next to the Holy Trinity Church of Long Newnton (marked on Google maps). We are in the Cotswolds, close to the Gloucestershire/Wiltshire border. It is a small green site (own san essential). We are ideal for a stop-off or short break to explore the local towns of Tetbury, Cirencester, Nailsworth or Malmesbury. The city of Bath is also not far away. Popular local attractions include tours of Highgrove gardens (pre-booking required), the National Arboretum at Westonbirt, Cotswold Water Park or tours/ tastings at Larkhill Vineyard. We are also next door to Church Farm, the home of Cotswold Wagyu. We have rural cycling and walking routes nearby including the Tetbury Trail which follows the Old Tetbury branch railway line to Kemble. This takes you into Tetbury where you can have tea/coffee, cake or light bites at the Whistle Stop café or visit the Royal Oak pub. Alternatively in the Kemble direction, you can stop off for refreshments at the Trouble House. Please contact Emma or Paul Barker directly if you have any questions about our site and access to the local area. We prefer booking enquiries by text or email please.

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

*Tents are not permitted on the majority of CS sites in Scotland

To vote for your favourite CS, all you need to do is fill in the online form and select which category you would like to nominate the campsite for.
