We are a recently created site situated just outside the Snowdonia village of Llanrug close to the river Rhyddallt. With a brilliant view of Snowdon and Elidir Fawr up the valley. This campsite has new modern toilet and shower facilities for 2022. The site offers 10 electric and 5 non-electric level and spacious pitches. There is a footpath from the campsite directly to Padarn Lake along an old disused slate railway track. The site is 50 yards to a bus stop that connects to all major attractions. Take a 10 minute drive to Caernarfon or Llanberis and just 20 minutes to the university city of Bangor, Isle of Anglesey or Velocity in Bethesda. Within walking distance the amenities in Llanrug include 2 popular pubs / restaurants, a bakery, Coop store, Spar/Post Office, Butcher/deli and a fish and chip shop. There is even a 9 hole golf course. This campsite is perfect for a relaxing stay in beautiful countryside abundant in wildlife or as a base for energetic outdoor activities such as climbing and kayaking.
